I wanted to thank everyone for the great turnout for last Sunday's Jazz Jam Session. The Barn got to raise a little needed funding to pay off most of the last show and a lot of people got to share some great music. The audience reception to the jazz format was exceptional and I wish to give many thanks to all the talented artist whom participated. I can assure you there will be many more jazz events forthcoming. As for funding future events we will be announcing another event next week.
I have basically opened the Barn up to some friends to put on their own shows this month. Stay tuned for specific announcements regarding these events. Unless otherwise announced all shows start at 7:00 and Admission is $10 and are hosted on Saturdays

I just stumbled across this video when researching swing music and thought It would be nice to share it with you. This is the great Benny Goodman's Orchestra with legendary trumpeter Harry James and the unbelievably unbelievable Gene Krupa on Drums. Both James and Krupa headed their own big bands in the day.
