Saturday November 1st, 7:00 PM.   Show will be staged at The Harmony Barn, 612 N. Center St., LaGrange, Ohio 44050,
Mike's Barn is very honored to welcome back what many consider one the finest guitarist in the world today, The legendary Adrian Legg. A guitarists' guitarist, Adrain has a reputation second to none in what is called finger style playing. Named the "Guitarist of the Decade" by the UK version of Guitar Magazine.

Not only is Adrian returning but we are also very honored to host his first stop in the U.S. for his debut Dead Bankers CD Tour.

Adrain has been wowing crowds across the globe and joins us for a very special evening of music mixed with some pretty entertaining wit and humor. The first question many may have is how does he do it, or perhaps how many fingers does this guy have? Adrain essentially mastered the instrument to make it sound like his own orchestra and uses an open tuning technique to tweak every note into something the guitar wasn't supposed to do or at least no one else can figure out. You will probably want to reserve your table early this is going to be a big deal. We have actually had people travel all the way from neighboring states to catch his show here.
"Legg is, above all, a guitarist of great power, invention and versatility… Through fast-fingered picking, spontaneously layering parts and occasional ringing harmonics, he sounds like an orchestra."
-St. Petersberg Time

"To say Legg plays a good guitar is like saying Menuhin saws a fine fiddle. This man is ridiculously talented."
-Music Week

"Quite simply, there is no one else like him," citing his "dazzling technique and equally large dollops of spirit, humor, passion, eclecticism and spontaneity."

"There are guitarists, there are axe-wielding maniacs, and then there are wizards. Adrian Legg is one of the wizards. He has enough technique to do just about anything he wants, but also the sensitivity to honour the contours of a melody." - Philadelphia Enquirer

Voted "Guitarist of the Decade" by Guitarist magazine

Come on out and enjoy the show this evening with us folks. We will be warm and cozy in the Riverdog Gallery tonight. Bring your favorite spirit, grab a seat and enjoy.
The Adrian Legg concert that was originally scheduled to be held in LaGrange at The Harmony Barn tonight has been moved to Riverdog Retreat in the gallery venue which is a smaller "house concert" space. This is still an event sponsored by the Mike's Barn.

Special thanks to Deborah and Terry for there generosity and help in making this happen tonight. The Riverdog is donating the space, sound equipment and Adrian's lodging.
In house concert tradition, all proceeds will be turned over to the musician. This will be the first stop on a long tour of North America supporting Adrian's new album "Dead Bankers". This will be a great opportunity to see a world-renowned guitar master in an intimate setting. Adrian is also a very nice guy and tells great stories. We know it is a busy weekend, but hope you can make a last minute decision to attend. You will certainly not regret it!
The admission price has been reduced to $20 with all proceeds going to Adrian. There are plenty of seats and the gallery is well heated, quite beautiful and there are indoor bathroom facilities. This event is BYOB food and beverages

Mike's Barn is pleased to introduce newcomer Crispin Swank. A classically trained guitarist from nearby Oberlin College, Crispen turns his talents to vocal arrangements with a large and equally talented ensemble. "Crispin Swank the Band blends folk, classical, and anything into eclectic, intricate songs. The songs are as invitations to experience and express the inner unfathomable through soaring flight of all voices and the staid liberation of the groove. The band, currently stationed in Oberlin, Oh, consists of Wiliam Overcash and Yuri Popowycz (violins), Tatiana Sutherland (viola), James Vitz-Wong (bass), Kaeli Mogg (voice), Dan King and (Louis) Pino (percussion, and Crispin Swank (guitar, voice). Crispin Swank will release his first studio album, Turn, in January."

Todd Allen
Mike's Barn welcomes back Todd Allen as he returns to Mike's Barn with an opening set of his amazing original guitar work. Blending strings and percussion from one guitar you'll be amazed by multiple feats of talent and skill presented by this young and upcoming musician. "Who was that kid" filled my inbox thereafter. Todd opened for Adrian on his first visit here in 2012.
